“I consider myself a storyteller rather than a professional producer.” He was born in Quneitra in the Golan in 1945. After his high school studies, he joined the Moscow Film Institute and graduated from it in 1974. He began his artistic career since his school days, where he directed the short film Dream of a Small Town (1972). In addition to writing some novels, he also wrote the story for the movie The Dream in 1988.
